Step onto the red carpet and shine bright like the stars as we celebrate the hard-working and dedicated volunteers who made Scouting in Orion successful this past year!
The recognition event is an opportunity for a night of fellowship and great food as we acknowledge and thank our adult volunteers for the hard work and dedication that made this year incredibly successful. Orion District’s outstanding leaders at the unit and district levels will also be recognized. All volunteers in Orion District are invited to this evening of festivity and honor.
Registration
The registration fee is $21.50 for the first person and $20 for each additional person who registers at the same time. Tickets can only be purchased online with a credit card or electronic check.
Registration closes 1/23/2024. There is no onsite registration. Council refund policy.

Nominate Scouters who have served Orion District youth above and beyond the call of duty. Nominations must be submitted by January roundtable.

| Most Valuable Scouter Award |
BSA-registered leader |
Recognizes Scouters who everyone in the unit always seems to turn to when there is a need within the unit - every unit should nominate at least one! |
| Courageous Scouter Award |
BSA-registered leader |
Honors a Scouter who, while facing their own personal challenges, provides exceptional leadership to youth at the unit level. |
| District Award of Merit |

Presented to Scouters who render service of an outstanding nature at the district level. |

Award for those units who are fully providing the Scouting program and supporting the council and district. This award is self-nominated. All qualifying units can earn the Gold Star Award. The top unit of each type will receive the Platinum Star Award. See the Journey to Excellence forms. |
