Passports are a supplemental resource to help Cub Scouts keep track of advancements completed.
Make sure to download these to your computer and follow the instructions before printing or they won't line up correctly.
Summer Passports
The summer passports contain activities ideal for families to work on over the summer to begin working on their next rank. The passports contain electives and some fun, outdoor activities (e.g., biking, swimming). The passports also include some electives that have time requirements that might easier to complete over school breaks. The only required advancements included are ones that require family involvement (e.g., Duty to God). A list of field trips that families may already be taking as part of their summer plans is also included.
Leaders can distribute these to parents at their last den or pack meeting in May. Make sure parents know that this is optional and that they do not need to complete all of them.
There is no Lion passport since the Lion program doesn't start each year until after fall school recruiting. The 4th and 5th grade Webelos Scouts passport is combined since the electives included in the passport can be done by all Webelos Scouts. The Duty to God advancements included for Webelos Scouts have a notation for the grade.

Duty to God Passports
A Scout is Reverent. Doing one’s duty to God is central to Scouting. The Scout Oath begins with duty to God; the Scout Law ends with reverence. As Scouting founder Robert Baden-Powell said, “There is no religious ‘side’ of the movement. The whole of it is based on religion, that is, on the realization and service of God.” Scouting is a nondenominational religious and educational institution and all faiths are welcome. Depending on rank, Scouts participate in worship experiences and service projects, visit religious sites, learn about religious practices and study people in history who have shown great faith in God.
Five Cub Scout ranks have a required duty-to-God adventure. Scouts work with their parent, guardian, religious or spiritual leader, or other caring adult to complete the requirements. After printing, fold in half twice to make a book

Outdoor Activity Award
Cub Scouts in 1st - 5th grade can earn the Outdoor Activity Award in each of the program years as long as the requirements are completed each year. The first time the award is earned, the Scout will receive the pocket flap award, which is to be worn on the right pocket flap of the uniform shirt. The flap for those who complete the requirement can be ordered from the Scout Shop.

Outdoor Activity Award Passport Requirements
World Conservation Award
Cub Scouts in 2nd - 5th grade can earn the World Conservation Award. The purpose is to encourage all youth members to think globally and act locally to preserve and improve our environment. Scouts work on specific advancements and complete a conservation project work. The patch for those who complete the requirement can be ordered from the Scout Shop.

Webelos Scout Resource Guide
The goal of the Webelos program is to give Scouts a taste of the Scouts BSA program. The passport contains some Scouting skills that every Webelos Scout should practice and know (e.g., knots, poisonous plants/snakes outdoor code).
The choice of a troop is a personal decision. The passport includes a list of possible questions when visiting a troop.
Before printing the passport, save the document to your computer, on the bottom right of page 1 (under the Facebook graphic), insert the URL of your pack website or social media. On the bottom left half of page 1, insert information about area troops for Webelos Scouts to visit. On the bottom of page 3, insert information about local Webelos Scout events (e.g., Webelos Woods), and then follow the instructions.

Texas Badge
The Texas Badge is for Wolves, Bears and Webelos Scouts to learn about the state of Texas and its history and customs. The patch for those who complete the requirement can be ordered from the council.

- Before printing the passport, save the document to your computer.
- Insert information in the fillable grey boxes, if applicable.
- Print the document one-sided to two-sided.
- Cut the document in half down the dotted line on the middle of the page.
- Assemble the book.
- Fold the book in half.
- Staple down the spine.
