Be A Scouting Influencer
We want to reach out to each potential Scout and their family with a personal invitation to join Scouting, where they will learn positive values, new skills and have fun with friends. Our goal is to recruit 3,000 new families in 30 days.
In order to reach this goal, we need our Scouting families to help us relaunch and rebuilding Scouting’s membership using a grassroots social media campaign.
Post pictures or videos of fun Scouting activities to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or Snap Chat and share what Scouting means to your family.

Participation Level Recognition
As a thank you, we have some cool recognition gifts. Every Scout or Scouter who posts about Scouting between July 1 - August 31, 2021, will receive an influencer patch (Like button). Patches will be available for pick up from the district executive at your district's roundtable.
Order Patch
Recruiter Level Recognition
Every Scout or Scouter who recruits another family to join Scouting in August will receive a recruiter level patch (ring around the Like button). Unit leaders will receive the patches from the district executive at roundtable based on applications submitted (either a paper application or online).
Individual Recognition
The top five Cub Scouts and top five Scouts BSA Scouts that have the most social media influence will receive the following prizes:

Social Media Frames
Help promote Scouting on social media by adding a photo frame around your profile picture. To add a social media frame select your profile picture, select add frame, and search “3K30DAYS” to find the frame.
Text to Join
Encourage families to Text Cub Scout, Scouts BSA or crew to 833-301-1301. They will be sent to www.shacbsa.org/join, a website with all packs listed by school district and links to register online.
