The council islooking for staff members to assist innew unit development. Part-time specialists will guide new Scouting units (e.g., Cub Scout packs, Scouts BSA troops, Venturing crews) through the step of new unit organization.

Leave No Trace Trainer Course
April 28-30, 2023

The Leave No Trace Trainer Course is for individuals, ages 14 and up who wish to guide units in developing a culture that effectively demonstrates responsible outdoor choices that reduce impacts of Scouting activities.

Bovay Scout Ranch

Adventure Camp is weekend campout for packs. Cub Scouts and their families will enjoy an exciting variety of activities at several program areas.

Overnight Camping is an opportunity for packs to offer positive outdoor activities. The pack leadership plans the campout, program and meals.

First Aid Training

The council offers are a variety of first aid training courses throughout the year including First Aid/CPR/AED, First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Course, and Wilderness First Aid.

Shooting Sports Training

The council offers are a variety of trainings and instructor certifications by discipline-specific subject matter experts to prepare those individuals who will serve in a leadership or supervisory role in the various shooting sports activities.

Climbing Training

Topping Out is a climbing tower instructor's course. Individuals who satisfactorily demonstrate the skills necessary to be an instructor will be able to run climbing programs in their unit.

Summer camp is a week-long council-organized overnight camp for Scouts BSA that operates under council-retained leadership.  The program provides opportunities for Scouts to earn merit badges along their advancement trail.

Wood Badge

Wood Badge is the Boy Scouts of America's ultimate leadership training designed to meet the advanced leadership needs of Scouters in all aspects of the BSA, whether unit, district, or council level. Scouting Supports Education
