Day Camp
June

Grab your astronaut helmet and space suit and prepare to explore the universe. Day camp is a council camp hosted by districts in June for Cub Scouts entering 1st through 5th graders with an awesome program such as BB guns, archery, sports, games, and crafts, rank advancements, Scout skills, fun, and more.

Resident Camp
July / August

Resident camp is a three-night campout at Bovay Scout Ranch for Cub Scouts. Scouts can hone canoeing and fishing skills, shoot archery and BB guns, explore camp searching for animal tracks, splash in the waterpark, learn about STEM programs, and more.

Every Scout should learn the value of hard work and earning their own way. The popcorn sale is the perfect opportunity to teach this valuable life lesson and fund the most exciting year of Scouting ever.  The popcorn sale is not just about selling popcorn...It’s also about promoting Scouting!

Wood Badge
October 15-17 & 30-31, 2021

Wood Badge is the ultimate leadership training designed to meet the advanced leadership needs of Scouters in all aspects of the BSA. It is a fun, energetic, and inspiring course guaranteed to infuse your unit with fun and meaning – all designed to fulfill the mission of the BSA, and ensure our youth is getting everything they are promised from the program.

First Aid Training

The council offers are a variety of first aid training courses throughout the year including First Aid/CPR/AED, First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Course, and Wilderness First Aid.

Camping

Summer camp is a week-long council-organized overnight camp for Scouts BSA that operates under council-retained leadership.  The program provides opportunities for Scouts to earn merit badges along their advancement trail.

Youth Safety

The safety of children in our programs is the most important priority of the Boy Scouts of America.

Scouting Supports Education

Scouting activities contribute to the academic development of the children who participate. 

The Cub Scout program supports over 120 elementary standards (TEKS) that students are to learn. More than 85% of merit badges include requirements that meet National Science Education Standards, giving Scouts a foundation in everything from nuclear science to robotics.
