Houston Area Scout Shops

Happy Back to Scouting to all. The Houston Area Scout Shops will be ready for all those new parents and Cub Scouts that come through the Shops. We have attached the Scout Shop Flyers for you to use for your Rallies.  Please click on the Front & Back to view the Scout Shop Flyer with check-list and prices. If you can't make it to the Scout Shop during our hours, call 713-865-5190 and ask for a mail order. (must pay shipping cost) You can also fax your order to 713-865-5192. Please allow 2 days for us to mail your order. If  you would like us to pull your order and you pick up during your lunch break, call or fax us with what you need. Please allow 2 days for us to pull.

There are some who have asked for directions to the Scout Shops. I have attached a google map next to each address below. Please click on this and put your address in for directions. You can also call any store for directions.  

The new Venturing uniform is complete. Come and try on the new Venturing uniform shirt and feel the difference in the materials. Our new Venturing Uniform shirts are designed to tackle any adventure. What can  your Scout Shop do for you? We can do any custom item you request. We have the best prices on Tshirts, Polo Shirts, Caps, Patches, or any other Custom Item you need. Ask your Scout Shop Manager for a quote on a custom item and see the difference. We also can do Custom Unit #'s for Cub, Boy Scout, or Venturing Unit #'s. We can put the veteren bar on top or even your Chartered Organization's name on the bottom. Ask your Scout Shop Manager for details.

If you are a Cub Scout Leader, you will want to have the new Resource Guide and other Cub Scout Materials.  Come in to your Scout Shop for the latest and greatest. Part of the new Cub Scout Delivery Model, this new resource offers den meeting plans for all ranks, plus pack meeting plans connected to monthly themes.
Also includes a light overview of the Cub Scouts program, an introduction to den leader responsibilities and den management, and an online resource list.

Visit www.scoutstuff.org when your Scout Shop is closed. You can order almost all your Scouting needs and have it shipped directly to your home.

For 2010 only, all Boy Scouts are able to earn the 4 new Historic Merit Badges. The available badges are: Carpentry, Pathfinding, Signaling, and Tracking. Please visit this link for the most up-to-date information on the requirements. You can view the originial Merit Badge Pamplet and the new requirments.

If your unit/chartered organization has not completed a new (within 3 years), please visit the following link to get a form. You must either mail or bring your form in to each store you shop at.

If your son has earned a rank in the year of 2010, He is available to wear the new 2010 Rank Emblem on his uniform shirt. Come to the Scout Shop to pick up your emblems now.(must bring proper paperwork to purchase any rank emblem)

For any rank emblem you purchase at any Scout Shop, you must bring in proof of earning it. The "Pocket Certificate" is a perfect way to show proof. Other proof that can be used is a copy of the Scouts Internet Advancement Profile that shows all rank and badges earned, a copy of the Advancement Report that was turned into council, or copy of the Troopmaster report for that scout. If you have any questions, please speak with your Scout Shop Manager.
