All Venturers are given opportunities to learn and apply proven leadership skills. A Venturing crew is led by elected crew officers. The officers work closely with adult Advisors and other adult leaders. The Sam Houston Area Council created its own Venturing Officer Association to help foster the development of those leaders.
The Venturing Officer Association, or “VOA”, is a group open to all Venture crew youth officers and adult leaders. Its members help plan Venturing across the Sam Houston Area Council.
