The Sam Houston Area Council offers Range Safety Officer training plus NRA Instructor training for Pistol, Rifle, Muzzle Loader and Shotgun disciplines to all registered adult leaders. This certification is required to open any of the Shooting Sports ranges or to have troop and district shooting sports programs in conformance with the Guide to Safe Scouting.
Rifle Instructor Training with NRA First Steps and BIT (Basic Instructor Training) Course
Located at Camp Strake in Conroe, Texas on May 17-19, 2013. (11322 I045 South (Exit #83) Conroe, TX 77304).
Class will begin promptly on Friday at 6:00 PM. Arrive by 5:45 PM. No Late Arrivals. Be Prepared.
Class is scheduled to end at 2:00 PM on Sunday but could extend longer. No Early Departures.
This is an adult Training and the Fee is $250.00.
