Advancement event from 12:15 – 1:45

TICKETS: $10 (includes admission to advancement and game).

Attend a special advancement event at Rice University to fulfill some of the requirements for the Sports Merit Badge and Baseball pin (subject to approval by a merit badge counselor, Den Leader, or Cub/Scout master). Merit Badge event: 12:15 to 1:45 p.m. in the Reckling Park. Rice University. 6100 Main St. Houston. TX 77005.

Advancement for BOY SCOUTS and CUB SCOUTS

A trainer will discuss the importance of diet, nutrition, fitness, the importance of warming up and cooling down, and exercise programs for youths.
A Coach will talk discuss the importance of sportsmanship in Conference USA events and the importance of character in young athletes.
A former Baseball player (Jimmy Comerota) will host a quick session on basic baseball drills.
