Commissioners who conduct recharter training need to attend this training. The training will be held during the breakout session during Council Coordinated. Commissioners will learn how to conduct recharter training for unit leaders that are held in each district in the fall.

About Recharter: Every December, all units (packs, troops, crews, ships) are required to renew their affiliation with Scouting. The BSA issues charters to community organizations to enable them to use the Scouting program under their own leadership as a service to their children, youth, and families. Re-chartering is the process of renewing the charter agreement between the BSA and the organization and renewing the registration of youth and adult members. Unit leaders can learn more about recharter at the district recharter training held in the fall. Find a recharter training being held near you on the calendar page of your district website.
