Sporting Clays is America's fastest growing and exciting shotgun sport. Go shooting and support Scouting. This annual spring event raises necessary funds to support the Sam Houston Area Council programs. It's also a great way to learn more about Sam Houston Area Council's accomplishments and needs.
The 16th Annual Sporting Clays Event will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2012, at the beautiful Rio Brazos Hunting Preserve in Simonton, TX. Each year we present the “Baker Cup” named after James A. Baker, former Secretary of State, to overall high scorer. It's a fun day for all that you won't want to miss!
We will have one flight starting in the early afternoon and will shoot 100 clays. Last year's event was a huge success. We also plan to have over 25 guns in the drawings this year! We expect a sell-out in 2012 so register now!!
