Friends of Eagles Sporting Clays Tournament

This event has been cancelled. Please participate in the Sam Houston Area Council Sporting Clays Tournament sponsored by Schlumberger, or make a contribution to Scouting here.

The Friends of Eagles Sporting Clays Tournament is a fundraising event for the Sam Houston Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. Five-man teams compete in clay pigeon shooting events for prizes and bragging rights. The clay target presentations simulate the unpredictability of live-quarry shooting, offering a great variety of trajectories, angles, speeds, elevations, distances, and target sizes.

Proceeds support the recognition of new Eagle Scouts at the annual New Eagle Scout Reception. At the reception, new Eagle Scouts receive a medallion, and attend the reception at no cost to him or his family members. Without the generous support of our sponsors and participants this effort would not be possible.

The entry fee is $750.00 per five-man team. The tournament begin with lunch at 11:00 a.m. Shooting begins at noon.

The names of sponsors will be displayed on the sponsorship electronic sign. A big thank you to our sponsors for helping to make the event a success.
