Stock Gifts
I have stock I would like to donate to the Sam Houston Area Council. What do I need to do?
Download Delivery Instructions and fax ((713) 659-6729) the completed form to the Council office. This will enable us deliver your shares to our account AND see that funds are properly credited. contact Britt Vincent at

Can the Sam Houston Area Council accept the gift of mutual funds?
Yes. It is a different procedure than with stocks. Please call (713) 756-3315 or email
jim.rees@shac.org to discuss the details.
How should I proceed in giving a stock certificate to the Council?
Transfer the ownership of stock certificates to Boy Scouts of America. Call or email us to let us know of your intent and then mail the certificate to the Sam Houston Area Council; Boy Scouts of America; PO Box 924528; Houston, TX 77292-4528.
