The guidelines for the canoeing and kayaking activities are outlined in the Guide to Safe Scouting. Included in these guidelines are the training requirements listed in the Aquatics Supervisor's Manual which is available in the BSA Scout Shop. These guidelines closely follow the training programs given by the American Red Cross and the American Canoe Association. The Council may offer training based on the Aquatic Supervisor's Manual or you may take ARC/ACA training by one of our partner groups.
