The Sam Houston Area Council offers many chances for camping for Cub and Webelos Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturers at our camp properties. The opportunity is available at all four of our camps for weekend and/or summer camping.
Cub Scouts can attend Day Camp during the summer and resident camp at Bovay Scout Ranch, too. Throughout the year they can attend weekend camp at Bovay Scout Ranch , Cub World at Camp Strake or Camp Brosig.
Boy Scouts are offered Winter Camp at Camp Strake held every year from December 26 -31. register.
During the summer Boy Scouts can camp at El Rancho Cima's Cockrell River Camp or Walter Horseshoe Bend. Top 10 reasons to attend El Rancho Cima. The older Scout can participate in the Rough Rider program for a different kind of high adventure experience at Iron Wheel Mesa.
Throughout the year on weekends, Boy Scouts and Venturers can camp at El Rancho Cima, Camp Brosig, Bovay Scout Ranch and Camp Strake to practice their skills and have a great time in the outdoors. Come join us soon.
