 **Winter Camp Merit Badge Counselors are still Needed**

an Assistant Merit Badge Counselor for Citizen in the Nation & Robotics.

You're Invited...

This year reservations for the 2012 Winter Camp #27 are available for a total of 900 Scout campers and approximately 150 Scout leaders for a camp total of 1050. An all volunteer staff of 260 will be needed and your support is necessary. Every unit who wants to attend Winter Camp #27 will have an "equal opportunity" to participate by doing the following:

1. Registration is open for Winter Camp now through the Doubknot system. Registration closes Saturday, December 1, 2012. Please visit registration access in the Boy Scout Winter Camp section on the council website to register for Winter Camp.

2. The number of youth camper spaces needed with a $250 per unit non-refundable deposit must be included with the unit registration. The total fee will be $250.00 per Scout. A non-refundable $50.00 per Scout deposit is due October 1, 2012 and the remaining unit registration balance will be due December 3, 2012. All deposits are non-refundable. Balance of fees for named participants listed on the unit Winter Camp registration are refundable following the council refund policy.

If necessary, due to registrations exceeding capacity, a special Winter Camp  #27 draw will be held with a preference to placement given to those units who have committed to the adult advancement program support, kitchen staff, and merit badge instruction and counseling assistance.

Note:

A. No "Super Troop" will be available; however, individual units may combine together for leadership purposes.

B. Adult Leader fees: "2" deep leadership per unit - free; unit volunteer(s) camp advancement/program assistance - free; all other leaders (non staff) - $100.00 due at final payment on December 3, 2012.

Packages will be labeled the way they are ordered. Example:

  • Items ordered under the Unit number will come as Troop #007 ← your unit number here.
  • Items ordered under individual name will come as John Smith ← your name here


Items will be waiting for you on December 26th when you arrive at Camp.
