New District Executive
Juan Hernandez, our Senior District Executive, was promoted to District Director of Tall Timbers District. While we are sad to see him leave our district, we are very proud of him. We are excited to announce that our new District Executive is DeWhite Page.
The Order of the Arrow is the national honor society of the Boy Scouts of America. Chapter meetings are for Order of the Arrow members and are held at St. James Presbyterian Church at Spencer and Underwood in La Porte on the second Sunday of every month. The regular chapter meeting begins at 3 pm followed by ceremony practice, drumming and singing. Map Adults: it is your duty to gather up the youth OA members in your unit and get them to the meeting. Most of them don't drive and need your help and encouragement to get to OA events. map

Scouts entering 1st – 5th grade for the ’13-’14 school year may attend: June 17 - 21 4:30 – 9:00 pm. This year’s camp will be full of fun and excitement. Your son will make new friends, and share all kinds of new experiences. This year’s camp will be offering BB guns, archery, sling shots, sports, nature and crafts. Each camper will receive a T shirt and patch. Tigers, Wolves, and Bears will be working on their achievements and electives. Webelos will be working towards completing several badges.
