Akela’s Trail is a one-day training experience for both Cub Scout leaders and Cub Scout parents. Sessions taught by your fellow Scouters will provide ideas and how-to’s in a fun environment. Akela’s Trail will give you time to share experiences with other Cub Scout Leaders, both novices and experts.

Akela’s Trail has sessions for everyone, from new leaders and parents to those who have had years of experience. It is a time to share and renew knowledge of current policies and procedures and to have fun with Cub Scouting songs, skits, and games.

Classes will be available on pack and den administration, program and event planning, fun games and activities, and a lot of “What’s this all about?”

Spend the day learning how to make the Cub Scouting experience more fun and productive for you and your boys! There are over sixty class sessions to choose from.

Event Co-Chairs Lori Powell of Texas Skies District and Joan Englander of Golden Arrow District, and their staff would like to take you back to the fundamentals of Cub Scouting as you follow your Akela’s Trail of Friendship.
