Scout Day with Astros!
The Astros will host a Scout Day at two upcoming Sunday games on August 23 and September 13. Special price tickets are available for these games. Scouts and their leaders in uniform may participate in the pre-game parade beginning at the Right Field ramp and continuing around the warning track. All participants (with game tickets) will meet at the Right Field entrance of the stadium no later than 11:00 a.m. for the 1:05 p.m. game.

Council Recognition Reception
The Council Recognition Reception will be held on Monday evening, October 12th. The location will be at Chapelwood United Methodist Church, 11140 Greenbay Dr., Houston, Texas 77024.

National Jamboree
Now is the time to sign up for the National Jamboree. Every four years or so, the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America organizes the ultimate Boy Scout experience, the National Jamboree! The next National Jamboree is scheduled in 2010 to coincide with the 100th birthday of the Boy Scouts of America! Over 40,000 Scouts and Scouters attended the last Jamboree in 2005. All the excitement of past Jamborees will be incorporated into the 2010 National Jamboree with new themes and shows. view link to read more
