Fourteenth Annual Ten Commandments Hike

The Sam Houston Area Council is sponsoring the Fourteenth Annual Ten Commandments Hike on February 14, 2009. We anticipate three separate hikes in three different areas of the Sam Houston Area Council. Our oldest event, the Downtown Hike, will feature churches in and around the Museum District. Our second hike, the North Hike, will take place in the Kingwood area. Our third hike, the Southwest Hike, will take place in the Sugar Land area. Participants will enjoy viewing diverse churches along the hike and will also hear a presenter at each church or synagogue briefly explain the history and religious beliefs of each church and an explanation of one of the Ten Commandments. view link
