Ten Commandments Hike

Sam Houston Area Council hosts an annual Ten Commandments Hike in conjunction with Scout Sunday and Scout Sabbbath. Hikes traditionally take place in two or three separate locations in the Houston area. Scouts, parents, and others will visit religious institutions of different faiths; they will hear a representative give a brief explanation of the history and distinct nature of that faith, as well as an explanation of one of the Ten Commandments.
