STEPS TO PLACE PORCORN ORDER

DO STEPS 'ONE' & ‘TWO’ NO LATER THAN

MIDNIGHT, FRIDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2007

 

  1. FIRST, ENTER BY SCOUT SALE INFORMATION IN THE COUNCIL'S POPCORN SALE TRACKING SYSTEM (PSTS)

1)      Go to www.shacpopcorn.org.

2)      Click on PSTS link on the home page.

3)      Enter user id/password. The first time you visit PSTS your user name and password are the same, pack123 or troop 123 (use your unit and number). Note there is no space between pack and number. If you are required to change your password write it someplace where you can find it. There is only one user name and password per unit.

4)      PSTS is loaded with the names of scouts as of about September 1st. If you need to add a scout, click on new scout and enter info. Please check each boy for accurate address and phone number. Make corrections by clicking on edit scout info. This information is the source the Aeros use to mail scouts about ticket information.

5)      Click on Edit Unit Info on the tool bar (check unit information for accuracy. Also, check prizes “Yes” or 5% commission in cash “No”; and Blue Bell eligibility “Yes” or No”. If the information is not correct, enter the corrections.

6)      To enter the popcorn for that scout click on new submission. Enter order and save.

7)      You can also go to reports and view your reports and assign prizes.

8)      When you entered all of your unit order, print a copy for your file and log off at the bottom left of the screen.

9)      Now go to www.trails-end.com to place your unit order with the popcorn company. If you do not do this your popcorn will not be delivered.

 

  1. SECOND, ORDER POPCORN FROM TRAIL'S END POPCORN WEB SITE (www.trails-end.com) (by midnight, October 26, 2007)

1)      Click on Popcorn System at the bottom of the home page.

2)      Use your email and Trail's-End password. Contact your district chair/tech chair for help as needed.

3)      On the toolbar located at the top of the screen click on the orders tab.

4)      Dropdown and click on unit popcorn order page and your unit order sheet should come up.

5)      Enter your unit totals from the summary of the PSTS system. Enter your order as containers (cont.) only; not as cases. The system will convert automatically into cases and run off containers. There is a ratio of containers to cases in the first column of each product. Then click on submit to council. Once you submit to council, you cannot change/add or delete your order without consulting with your district chairman.

3.     THIRD, ORDER PRIZES AND/OR PATCHES & ASSIGN COMMISSION (by December 31, 2007)

1)      Go back to www.trailsend.com.

2)      Click on Popcorn System at the bottom of the home page.

3)      Enter your e-mail address and password.

4)      On the toolbar located at the top of the screen click on the orders tab.

5)      Drop down and select Unit Commission. Here assign the prize or cash option, save and exit.

6)      Click on the orders tab again. Dropdown and click on Unit Prize Order if you are ordering prizes. Enter person to receive prizes for the unit on the “Edit delivery address for prize order” screen. Select submit.

7)      Then place the prize/patch order and click on submit to council. Super Salesman patches for Scouts selling at least $250 will be given when the popcorn is picked-up at the popcorn distribution sites.
