The Heritage Society of the Sam Houston Area Council, Boy Scouts of America was established in 1989.  It was the vision of a select group of volunteers to establish this society dedicated to building the Council’s permanent endowment trust fund to meet future financial needs.  Contributions are recognized at three membership levels:

$10,000 or more -Bronze Eagle

$100,000 or more -Silver Eagle

$500,000 or more -Gold Eagle

Monies contributed to the Endowment Fund through the Heritage Society are never spent; only the interest is used to further the programs and outreach of the Sam Houston Area Council.
