The Golden Arrow district serves the following school district:

• Houston ISD - West Region
• Private Schools located with in the service area boundries

Last year, Golden Arrow served more than 3100 youth with over 90 units.

The Golden Arrow District serves the Southwest portion of Houston, from Montrose Blvd to Belt Way 8 (East & West) and from Memorial Drive to Hwy 90 (North & South). 

The Golden Arrow District volunteers are very inovative with the unique program opportunities.  For example the District conducts two Merit Badge Fairs each year, an event that draws more than 400 Scouts, who earn thousands of Merit Badges taught by proffessionals in their fields.   The District also conducts the Council's Pinewood Derby race at the Council's Scout Fiar each Spring and has developed new pinewood derby events like the Death Derby and Giant Slide.

Golden Arrow District is also a leader in providing the generous finaincial support needed to serve the thousands of scouts across the Council and is recognized as a leader in the Family Friends of Scouting program.
