2004-2005 SCOUT ADVANCEMENT CONTEST
SPONSORED BY STRICKLAND CHEVROLET IN PEARLAND



CONTEST RULES



1. All Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts who are officially registered in a Pack or Troop are eligible to participate in the Contest.

2. Contest entry forms are available at all five Houston Scout Shop locations and Strickland Chevrolet in Pearland (ask for Chuck Prosch).

3. When a Pack or Troop adult leader turns in an official Advancement Report (#34403B.2003 Boy Scouts of America) at the Scout Shop, he or she can pick up contest entry forms for each Scout earning a rank advancement. Fill out a contest entry form for each Scout earning a rank advancement, and leave them at the Scout Shop-or take the entry forms with you to fill out and return at a later date.

4. The following rank advancement qualify for entry in the contest:

Cub Scout Rank Advancements
Tiger Cub, Bobcat, Wolf, Bear, Webelos & Arrow of Light

Boy Scout Rank Advancements
Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star, Life & Eagle

5. Any rank advancement turned in on an official Advancement Report at any one of the five Houston Scout Shops after 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 24,2004 through 5:00 PM on Friday, April 22, 2005 is eligible to enter the contest on an official entry form.

6. All official entry forms must be turned in at any of the five Houston Scout Shops by 6:00 PM, Friday, April 22, 2005.

7. The drawing will be held at the 2005 Scout Fair.

8. The Scout whose entry form is drawn must be officially registered in a Cub Pack or Boy Scout Troop in the Sam Houston Area Council at the time of the drawing.

9. It is not necessary to be present at the drawing to win.

10. The prizes will be awarded to the parent(s) or guardian(s) of the Scout whose entry form is drawn, upon presentation of required identification.

11. The drawing will be held under the direct supervision of the Sam Houston Area Council, Boy Scouts of America Scout Fair Steering Committee.

12. If the prize remains unclaimed by 12:00 noon ten (10) business days after the drawing is held, an alternate drawing will be held in the lobby of the Cockrell Scout Center on that day.
