Citizenship in the World Merit Badge Opportunity

All Boy Scouts, Scout leaders and family members are invited to the Bush Library on the campus of Texas A&M University on Saturday, November 15, 2008 to participate in a question and answer session with Ambassador Sichan Siv. Ambassador Siv served as Ambassador to the United Nations for five years.

Ambassador Siv has also served as an Deputy Assistant to the President for Public Liaison and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South Asia.

Doors open at 8:00 AM with Ambassador Siv taking questions from the Scouts. Please be seated by 8:50 AM.

Location:  Frymire Auditorium in the Annenberg Conference Center across the plaza from the George Bush Library and Museum.

Parking:  Free parking available at the George Bush Library located at 1000 George Bush Drive West, College Station, Texas. Parking Information.

Registration:  Although this is a free event, please guarantee a seat by sending at email to Dr. Robert Holzweiss or Tracy Paine. You may also telephone 979-691-4074/4014. Please provide one name as a point of contact, your troop number, and a total number of seats requested.

Cost: The event is free, however, there is a $5.00 per person charge to enter the George Bush Library.

Question and Answer Format:  Please approach the microphones in an orderly manner to ask questions. Follow-up questions are encouraged so long as they remain relevant to the topic under consideration.
