Soar to new heights this year in science, math, and history with the 1940 Air Terminal Museum's Aviation Merit Badge Workshop.  Located at William P. Hobby Airport, these exciting one-day programs serve as an excellent introduction for youth to aviation while helping them earn their Aviation Merit Badge*. Scouts will learn about the forces of flight, types of engines, and functions of aircraft instruments and control surfaces. Guided tours of the 1940 Air Terminal Museum and presentations by career speakers will also inform participants of commercial aviation’s rapid growth and various job opportunities available in the Houston Area.  Flyer.  Registration Form.

Boy Scouts who were elected into the Order of the Arrow (OA) by their troop must complete an ordeal within one year, in order to become a member of Colonneh Lodge. A Brotherhood walk and ceremony are held at 3:00 pm on Saturday. After 10 months of service as an Ordeal member and after fulfilling certain requirements, an Order of the Arrow member may take part in the Brotherhood ceremony, which places further emphasis on the ideals of Scouting and the Order.
