Scoutbook Training

The first council-wide opportunity to learn Scoutbook will be conducted at the Cockrell Scout Center for those interested in merit badge counselor related features (intended for Boy Scout users). The training will begin with a general session, followed by breakouts specializing in the following user areas.

Scouters who have attended or staffed a Wood Badge course, or staffed National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) are invited to attend the Baden Powell Fellowship Dinner.

Topgolf Challenge
March 8, 2018

Join us for the 1st annual Topgolf Challenge to support the council. The event will be exciting, social and fun for all skill levels.  The tournament will be played in a scramble format with prizes to the top three threesomes, longest drive, closest to the pin, and hole in one. Make a difference in the lives of our youth one swing at a time.

University of Scouting is a semi-annual training event for Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Venturing, Sea Scouts, district and council leaders and parents. It is an action-packed, fun-filled single day of supplemental training where participants choose from over 100 courses.

Sporting Clays Tournament
April 26, 2018

Participate in the Sporting Clays Tournament to support Scouting. 

Sporting clays is a shotgun shooting game in which clay pigeons are presented to the gunner in ways that mirror the flight pattern of game birds, or occasionally rabbits, in their natural habitats.
