Top Leader Training Day

Top Leader Basic Training Day is an opportunity to train the top unit leaders before recharter. All top leaders must be trained before December recharter. Top leaders are Cubmasters, Scoutmasters, Advisors, Skippers, and Coaches.

Through the process, chartered (sponsoring) organizations, youth member and adult leader information is updated as well as registration fees and

Youth Protection Training

Youth Protection Training (YPT) is designed to help keep our youth safe from abuse. 

Every registered leader must take Youth Protection Training online at within the last two years

Scouting for Food

In partnership with the Souper Bowl of Caring, Scouts help make a difference to fight hunger. 

This council-wide service project begins as Scouts distribute door hangers in their neighborhoods to announce the upcoming food drive. Scouts return the following Saturday to pick up and deliver donations to their local food banks and pantries.

National Scout Jamboree
July 19-28, 2017

The jamboree is a gathering of approximately 40,000 Scouts, leaders, and staff that showcases everything that is great about the BSA and its members. Held once every four years, Boy Scouts and Venturers come together for 10 days of adventure at the Summit Bechtel National Family Scout Reserve in West Virginia.
